Let's Take A Gamble with Gambling

There seems to be much talk about gambling coming to Cleveland since the passing of Issue 3. State Issue 3 brought an amendment to the Ohio Constitution that allows for one first-class casino in each of the state's four largest cities, which means gambling for Cleveland!
Many people have different opinions on the fact that gambling is coming to Cleveland. Most believe that the casino and all that comes with it will have a negative effect on the city. When people think of gambling, the first thing that they think of is Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is known for it is crazy lifestyle and its gambling, which is why people don't seem to like the idea of gambling. They see all of the prostitutes, drugs and crime happening in Las Vegas (as if we don't already have drugs and crime) and don't like even the thought of it. I don't believe that Cleveland will follow in Las Vegas' footsteps, considering the fact that Las Vegas has over a hundred casinos while Cleveland will only have one.
Since the downfall of our economy, I don't think it really matters what happens at this point. There are hardly any jobs to come across these days, which is why having a casino in Cleveland will have a good impact. Having the casino will bring forth more jobs and we need jobs in this worsening economy. The casinos are supposed to create about 34,000 jobs for Ohio. About 19,000 of the jobs are to be for construction while the other 15,000 are permanent jobs in light of Ohio's economic state. As well as jobs from the casino itself, the casino will attract more downtown jobs, residents and visitors.
More residents and visitors will mean more money for the city to spend elsewhere. The casino will suppose to have created new revenue for the city. At this point I think that the casino could only help Cleveland in this bad economy. I say for those who like to gamble, enjoy and for those who do not like it, just ignore. We should give gambling a chance because it seems that nothing else is doing much better.
